Hi, I'm Shannen

I started writing stories in third grade when I learned that although I couldn't become a professional reader as a grownup, I sure could be a writer. Now, I'm a wife and homeschooling mother of three with far too many stories in my head.

My first ever book, Canine Command Manual, is a children's book inspired by my little brother and his beloved dog. Bringing their bond to the page reignited my lifelong passion for writing, and now I have big dreams to finally bring the rest of my stories to life!

From charming picture books to adventurous middle grade novels, I hope that each story I write takes readers on a journey into a world of vibrant imagination and memorable fun.

When I'm not wrangling my kids or writing books, you can usually find me doing crafts, reading, designing stickers, or playing with stationery.
